First Baby Purchases
We decided to make one last trip to IKEA before we move and load up on some baby items I knew I wanted. (YES! We're moving! I hope to share some really good house-selling news soon but I don't want to jinx anything we have going on right now.)
This highchair is something I knew I wanted, prior to even getting pregnant! I love the red color and the simplistic design. Not to mention, easy to clean and fits in smaller spaces. We wanted to see the cribs in person and we were pleasantly surprised, so much that we decided to take one home! All of the IKEA cribs come highly recommended by reputable sources (consumer reports, baby bargains and many 'real' people on the internet). I love the sleek European color and style.
We found out the gender in early April - that's when the real shopping and designing will begin!

I'm terribly bitter that I live no where near an Ikea. Super sad face! That crib is exactly what I wanted, but I guess it's ok I didn't get one since my little NEVER slept in his crib. Can't wait to hear some good moving news!
I've been reading your blog for a while but never commented. 1. Congrats on your pregnancy! 2. I'm due with twins in a few weeks and those are the cribs we bought too! I love them. I got them in white. Super convenient, great price and totally safe/reliable. Oh and you'll be happy when you go to put it together. It literally took 20 minutes!
I love love love these purchases. The crib is too cool - love the color. And the high chair is fab. We ended up with a vintage wooden number from CL and I like it just fine. But I sort of wish I had bought something like this. Mostly, something smaller.
Did you get the playgym thingy too? That's super cute!

OOh! I LOVE your choices! We have an IKEA highchair and couldn't be happier. Best $19 we spent!
